Critique Group Week 39 - What Lies Ahead

I'm giving you to 'lyric's (although this is a poem) for inspiration. Ruth-Ellen Flanagan suggested it, and it seemed reasonable. I wrote this after returning from my André Gallant workshop in 2012. The subject is a leaf, but it applies to change, passing, shifting, and seasons. Interpret any part or any single word. WHAT LIES AHEAD Here I began, Here I grew, Here I was content. Here I waited, Here I watched, Here I found purpose. Here I weathered, Here I changed, Here I grew old. I remember the Spring, The Summer sun too, The rain on my face, And the crisp morning dew.
